Do you want to overcome Insomnia or problems sleeping?
How can Hypnotherapy and Energy Healing help Insomnia?
Hypnotherapy & Healing are Holistic, natural ways to tackle & relieve insomnia.
Hypnosis is a state of enhanced relaxation, where the mind is more receptive to positive suggestion for change.
Healing promotes a profound state of relaxation and clears energetic blocks, therefore both therapies can reduce any stress or physical tension that may be contributing to your sleep problem. In addition, both hypnotherapy & healing work to identify & clear any underlying factors and promote quality and quantity of sleep.
Often, insomnia becomes a vicious circle, where tiredness causes frustration & worry or depression about the lack of sleep, resulting in even more stress. Hypnotherapy & Healing can help you break this negative cycle and help you get some peaceful & refreshing sleep.

What can I do to help myself?
If you suffer from Insomnia you've probably tried some of these, but it's worth trying them for a sustained period of time, often people give up too soon.
Eliminate caffeine, it can stay in the body for up to 20 hours. If you really can't cope without tea or coffee, try keeping it as a morning only treat and switch to something else for the rest of the day.
Change your routine, or start one if you haven't got one! Go to bed at the same time each night & get up at the same time, this will help your body clock get back into a rhythm.
Don't watch TV in the bedroom or preferably for half an hour before bed, it's too stimulating for the brain.
Recent research shows the same effect from mobile phones, so the same applies, also if you can, switch it off when you sleep.
Change your environment, generally the darker your room the better. Make sure the temperature is right for you, often people wake up simply because they're too hot.
Change the way you exercise, if you exercise late in the evening it could be worth trying gentle exercise like yoga, tai chi or swimming alternatively switching to an earlier work out time.
Make sure you don't go to bed hungry, a carbohydrate snack, milk or turkey can help before you go to bed. Don't get up & eat during the night, as this can set up a pattern where your subconscious mind wakes you up because it thinks it's meal time!
